Bribe is Bad for Your Country. Desist!

Bribe is bad for your company and your country! DESIST!
Read this true story below (modified but within scale). Let not mention companies or countries concerned. Just lesson learned. Insya Allah.

Company 1 (C1) of 3000 employees approached a trainer to train their employees well. After 12 months of applying the right skills and knowledge, they achieved HIGHEST PROFIT (by 70 MILLION dollars more than usual profits after deducting the training fees of not even reaching 200k). C1 is able to give HIGHEST BONUS to all employees in their history of existence! The 2nd year, they leap by 100 MILLION dollars more than the usual profits (after deducting the training fees of not even reaching 300k). C1 can see their profits growing EXPONENTIALLY! C1 are thus heading for expansions and may also EATS up all its competitors locally and GLOBALLY!

While C2 and C3 of about the same number of employees, approach the same trainer and asked for bribe. So the trainer refused and they managed to engage another trainer that did not refuse. In the end, their profits are the same but deterioration continued until the C2 was sold to other countries. While C3 is still being backed up by its goverment. In fact, they are losing both this life, and the next. May they all and we all repent before its too late, ameen.

Seriously, it is best that you share the blessed 70 MILLION dollars and later, the 100 MILLION dollars, instead of sharing the bribe money which may not even mount up to 200 thousand dollars. Further, this kind of negative action will only destroy your company and everyone in it. So sad!

If there is a 'wall', BREAK IT! :)

Sometimes in doing projects improvement, my participants too run into walls. I always motivate them to break them all. Thus they are now the innovators and creators of new technologies, new organizational culture/system, new manual / work instructions, etc.etc.

Always doing the right things, making 'em simpler, but more and more effective and efficient!

Bismillah.. i am gonna share a very important fact here..

When they have succeeded in removing lots of rejects and preventing breakdowns, my participants came and said this

Now we are in short supplies, our suppliers just could not cope with our demands.

That is not the issue at all.. the issue is, their other clients are giving them 60 days and 30 days while you are still at 90 days term.

With the millions of savings you did and maximum profit reached, TRY PAYING THEM 'COD'.

They never had any supply issue after that!!

On another hand, they even received FIRST CLASS treatment with FIRST NOTIFICATION whenever latest invented supplies with 'BEST IN THE WORLD' quality is created.

They got it first to their "heart's content". Their competitors got it last.

Sadly but surely their competitors had to close down but before that they just had to try it 1 last time, so it is seen that there are some minor claims from my client's customer and
when I ask them, was it a paper clip?
They said, no.. err.. wait a minute, how do you know?
Me: so not paper clip.. what was it?
Client: a pen.

Well you see, with the right skills and knowledge, you can compete nobly, via quality improvements and such; but without it, they had to resort to sabotage coz sadly, that's the only way left.
